Chris Cornell is dead

Post by Firimei Lang » Thu May 18, 2017 5:11 am

Such sad news for me, I grew up with his music. Well my dancing around and clubbing were done in Alternative clubs and so on. Sound Garden , Audioslave and Temple of the Dogs were/are some of my favourites.

He was only 52, it happened suddenly as the article and many other state.

I feel weirdly lost and empty..Time to play DS? or keep painting.
Yours F

It feels weird posting a link to a cover song in memory of him, but it's good to remember that he was actively out there and performing, and not just someone we had joy-joy nostalgic feelings for. This version of Nothing Compares 2 U has just an amazing looseness, swagger, and defiance to it, which I never picked up in in any of the other renditions. RIP Chris.

I'm going to pour some out for him. Then I'm going to drink that beer to fill my bladder. And then I'm going to pour some out for Roger Ailes.
