Sorry to see you go, and for getting bitchy with you during PK last year. DS needs good leaders, and whenever I PKed over there I knew you were one of the ones that would have my back.

Although we never played together much, I always admired you and know the mud suffers a huge loss in your absence. Also, thanks for being my first warder. You were so patient, kind, knowledgeable -- really everything I'd want to see in players you exemplified. Be well.

Much like the others. Had no idea who you were on DS, but I've always respected your fighting styles on all the chars I've come across and had a blast whenever I interacted with any of your Tower chars. Thanks for being here and brightening the mud, hope you enjoy post-wotmud life and have a blast .

I don't think we knew eachother very well, but I hope that someday when (or if) I say farewell, I will have had half the impact that it looks like you had on so many.

Why do we have to let players go, quietly into that night, due game frustrations?

Is it so much work for Imms to accommodate players when players are put in dire straights after working hard on their characters?

I mean, a player being upset because they feel slighted by other players is a personal issue.

Players feeling slighted by the Imms is a negative atmosphere to current and future players in an aging game. Everyone doesn't need herons from Imms to make them happy, but in a small community like this would it be the end of a world to accommodate individual players on individual issues with these new mandates when they worked long and/or hard to gain what they have? Players had the patience to hold onto what they have, and if they have legitimate real-life issues but take the time to try to keep playing they get told "Oh well."

The game's not exactly under the stress, direction, or scrutiny of any government committees or political ideologies that I am aware of.

Just my thoughts. A heron long to ya if you come back (because I actually have some now, despite being the poor PKer I am). That's my incentive to stay. I tried getting Jana to come back with 4 herons, but she turned me down.
