When there's a niche market for muds still, it's frustrating that we're so far down the list.

Frustrating on so many levels.

We're only 99th! I can't believe even some mud named "NaughtyMuffin MUSH" is ahead of us...

How do they get stats of how many are online, and which muds are just full of botted players?

Couldn't answer that Sanguine, but our figures were accurate. Surely the P2P muds aren't majority bots.

What is weird is that they are reporting that the old game address is active as "The Wheel of Time MUD" well as the current one as "Wheel of Time" - I wasn't aware that the former was functional so how are they getting current active non-zero statistics for it? {N.B. URIs are telnet NOT http/https scheme!}

Reminds me of:
Mark Twain possibly mis-attributed to Benjamin Disraeli who, he thought, wrote:There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.
