My favourite show in ages! Every time the synths started up I giggled in delight.

Have you watched the supercut movie references yet? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBjgFt6lVHM

Yeah, I really enjoyed Stranger Things. It had a great Stephen King vibe to it (gang of loser kids on bicycles vs EVIL) and was very binge watcheable...I watched the whole thing in like two days. The Dungeons and Dragons angle was really well done. I thought the villain was kind of weak, but I almost always think that with this genre. Maybe it's even supposed to be that way. On the whole, great show.

But my favorite new show is The Night Of, on HBO. Any of you guys watching that?

For me it's a combination of Freaks and Geeks and Super 8

I don't see the appeal at all, too many glaring pot holes, and rules for the universes that are made up simply to further the story in a clunky way. It would make a decent movie, but not a tv show, way too much filler, and little substance
