Yes I know some of you call it a cellphone. No, that doesn't mean that's ok.
Terminology aside - what are you playing on Android? Or iOS, although I care less about that because I refuse to overpay for my phones.
I'm particularly looking for good offline gaming recommendations. Sucks having a great new game then finding you need data to use it - not so good when you're travelling!
I'm quite enjoying Plants vs Zombies, and I mostly still enjoy Clash of Clans.

Star Wars Commander is still a huge hit with my family. We play it together at the house and our extended family plays in different states. It is a strategy game that does require data, however. With WiFi everywhere it does make it less of an issue for us. On a recent flight, when the crew announced we could use WiFi on board we heard the trademark lightsaber sound of our game half a dozen times more as other passengers also opened the game throughout the cabin. We were pretty amused.
Some OLD faves that I think don't require data: Two Dots... Mini Squadron is more an arcade type dog-fight game with classical music - a very basic yet enjoyable game to play. Jetpack Joyride is another good one. Monument Valley is a brilliant and beautiful puzzle game of illusion with a charming little story behind it. My only regret is there aren't more levels to it.

I loved playing that game and had no clue there was an app. Thanks!

Love it. Wide and I bought copies on our phones, then downloaded on our tablets. So we can play with our kids 4 player while traveling for the price of two

Not sure if there's an Android version but after being sick of let down by free game after free game I finally bought one, and Goblin Sword has been highly entertaining. A fairly basic platformer but it's just challenging and fun enough to keep me entertained. Have a number of hours on it so far.
