Equipment Rotting in Rent?

Is equipment rotting in rent something new? I just pulled out a diamond tipped that has never seen pk and it's in fair condition.

Dunno bout that Equi. I've had a fair cond DT lance stored for years while I waited for one of those "weapon renewal" things Imms sometimes did and I always missed.

Actually had two purchased from the auctions that never left rent. One is good condition, other is fair. Same applies to the shocklance purchased that is now good condition. So apparently just put the gear on a storage char rather than rent?

I guess this is related to the condition of lances being upped during the latest round of weapon changes. It could be that this means items that were previously pristine are now in worse condition, but I'm not sure whether that only applies to rent storage or also to character rent.

That makes sense, without any idea of numbers say it was at 20/20 durability, total upped to 40 durability and it's now 20/40 so 'good/fair'. However...you didn't get confused and think a shocklance was a lance did you Ely?

I didn't change shocklances, no. But it could be the explanation for the DT lance.

Found the other shocker. Is in proper condition. Thanks for the explanation. DT lance sucks anyway!

Why is there not something in game that can mend lances or chains etc. Theres a small change that could happen maybe?
