I like reading everybody's proposed names for the 2h non-stab s-blades!
It makes me think about our current daggers--the ones lots of us use for butchering, especially.
With the exception of a long, heavy knife, I can't think of any others that are knives instead of daggers. Can you?
WoT characters are always using belt knives and work knives and work blades.
Do you think it would throw off balance if a low-end dagger (rusty? plain dagger? dirk?) were changed to a belt knife, hunting knife, etc?
(I'm thinking the objection, besides taking somebody's time on something unimportant, might be that it would remove a re-eq option for a stabber. Imo there are plenty of jeweled and ivory-hilted around, but I am no expert!)

Re: knife names in general
This could be a fun project for some of us to research book-ish alternative names, then submit them with quoted source material and that way if an immortal wants to change the names they don't have to take the time to do the research... all that is already done and they just have to do the data entry. Could be done for more than just daggers also.
Re: knife names in general
I ALWAYS wanted long heaby knife to be useful and non stabbing. #wotmuddreams

Looking at daggers actually made me chuckle:
