The Wheel of Time Season 2 Episode 5 "Damane"
Moiraine and Rand flee from Lanfear, a dangerous forsaken.
Release date: September 15
Spoilers up through Episode 5.

My first thoughts
Lanfear: I think a very screenworthy take on Lanfear. Rand, I hope you like dom-play.

Moiraine: another kill count

Seanchan: Turak makes entrance. The aesthetics are slowing growing on me.

Perrin: finally has his axe back.

Dain Bornhald: An interesting take on the character, and a little more 3dimensional

Wonder girls: Seems like extra work for Liandrin to knock them out and lug them through the Ways when they were more than willing to go. Some weird cut in the Damane battle.

Forsaken: likes like Moghedien and Graendel makes the cut, and Mesaana and Semirhage gets boot. I assume Mesaana gets merged to Moghedian, and Semirhage to Graendel.

I think its certainly better than Season 1 but still borderline terrible.

I am intrigued and enjoying the lead up to a large Falme show down.

Unfortunately, they had Rand talking to a Blademaster but forgot to teach him sheathing the sword or whatever the swordform was called which if I recall correctly Lan taught him and was used. I'm assuming that needs to show up at some point prior to the end.

Hopefully the final Falme show down isnt a huge turd with some random plot twist like Rand dies and Egwene becomes the Dragon Reborn and Perrin falls in love with Ingtar.

Perrin is still such a whiny little bitch which is unfortunate.

Lanfear was done well but the introduction was just so blah.
