new ter'angreal idea

how about a ter'angreal that when used by a mc, protects them from taint? so as long as they channel using it, they won't go crazy. no boost to power, just protection from the taint on the source. and you can't use both a ter'angreal and an angreal at the same time, you have to pick one

to kind of shoe in on your idea, I feel like MC's really need a leg up... also there is sooo much more that could be done with angreal/ter'angreal

Ways to avoid the taint entirely are un-bookish and we have gone to great lengths to make MCs both playable even while extremely tainted but dangerous to be around. The taint revamp was, by far far far, the largest set of code changes made since maybe the 90s. We care a lot about this being fun but no, there is no avoiding the taint. So this is a NWIH idea.

There are still some undiscovered Easter eggs with MCs though. :)

People just really need to get over the mostly mental hurdle of overlooking that New Unavoidable Taint (NUT) is much, much more fundamentally playable than Old Avoidable Taint (OAT). It's like comparing nuts to oats. I'm sort of semi-surprised groups of MCs haven't already completely ravaged the depleted LS who-list already.

I know nothing of MC's, haven't attempted one, yet.... What about an angreal that had a chance to either avoid the taint, or speed up the taint on % when you use it. A Chance to stay sane or increase the madness already in effect.
