Lag was just about as bad today by 3pm

I really think double reboots until this gets sorted should be considered.

A very small price to pay. 4th day in a row I’ve left in the middle of good pk because the lag is too bad.

I did some testing with a char in a full set and 60 dirty rocks, which was 2 seconds of lag when they linkless rented. When I upped that to 230 rocks, it went up to 4 seconds of lag. So yes, linkless renting with a ton of items will lagspike the game when renting.

can we make basic loot like chainmail leggings thats just so the mobs aint naked no loot? just thinking we could reduce the amount of cosmetic items in barrels and stuff all over

Speaking of that - might also be good to have R7 mobs load naked?

Everyone probably dumps the chainmail stuff and other bits and pieces ASAP after issuing the mob, and gives better gear. Lose 1 or more during playtime and there's a ton of that crap just lying around.

Can we have items that lay on the ground just crumble to dust after say 30 tics? This item will self-destruct in 30.... 29.... :D
Need to make some exception for quest or crafting items that load with a purpose and is probably coding - but sounds like a long-term solution.

A lot of people dont do this. If you are not heavily committed to your mob or you use a lot of portal stones then its not worth carrying around a set for him. Is it viable to add in another option to come equipped or not? could have it respond to "say issue naked generic mob" to have it load without gear or "say issue generic mob" to have it load with gear? If not then maybe a mob that zone pop gathered up everything in the room, deleted it, and teleported to the next general office? that way it only ran a mobol one time per zone pop.

There also seems to be a ton of focus on rent cost for some reason. Correct me if I am wrong but I dont think theres more than one or two people that used it for normal rent cost unless they have fireworks or a bunch of angreal on them. rent cost can be avoided entirely by taking a bunch of excess junk and selling it to the shops. and it wont cost you anything to rent basically ever again.

The real advantage most people liked the sleep well and wake function and are upset that its gone was the item limit. It made it hard to rent for just about any character, but if you had herbs or projectiles renting isnt even an option. For example if I have my basic set of equipment, trinkets, sheaths, 1 piece of food, 1 lantern, 1 water skin, 2 portal stones. 1 vial, 1 draught, theres only like 5-10 spots left and I need 25-35 projectiles to smob with. Thats without having any loot on me whatsoever.
