The show makes the town seem a bit more hustle and bustle than I imagined the book town to be.

There were Numideans in Gaul during the Gallic Wars fought by Caesar, although granted a few thousand auxiliaries isn't what we're talking about I suppose.

Ha! Wouldn’t mind some extra income, but certainly not being paid by Amazon. I just enjoy the series and am not offended by the changes that were made. Judging by the numbers, vast majority of viewers enjoy the show enough to keep watching every week. I think it’s at 2 straight weeks of beating out MCU’s Hawkeye too. Counts for something.
