Wheel of Time MUD

I'm going to attempt to create a list of all Darkside content that will be viewable in game and/or possibly on forums. In game preferred. I need help! If the project is successful small qp awards may go to those who contributed usefully.

(Similar list for LS divided into areas would be a worthwhile future project!)

Need to stick to a basic template and do not need loads of details, just the absolute basics.

DO WANT: Quest start points, mobs rewarding coin/other for scalps/other, exchange mobs, mobs with other purposes that players need to know about, smob chain starting points, crafting mobs of any kind, shop type mobs that are not obviously a shop eg mob exchanging eq for vials, travel basics eg locations of black flame in keep, portal stone sh and way gate sg, anything similar not covered already

DO NOT WANT: Solutions, how to, loads of key words (unless key words are not obvious or not mentioned by mob/room), eq loads, key loads, smobs, general guides/tips

Example templates:

What? The Black Flame
Where? In Trolloc Keep
Details? ENTER the FLAME to travel to other locations.

What? Foul Winds Smob Chain
Where? Begins at Clear Spiders smob.
Details? Requires group. Chest reward upon completion.

Where? A Suspended Platform, above Stronghold. (Does Thakandar have one too?)
Details? Send a draghkar to SCOUT the cities of Maradon, Fal Dara, Cairhien, Tar Valon, and Caemlyn.

This is something that used to work for me. Maybe it is only for Trollocs now? I have not been able to get it to work (only tried on Myrddraal so far).

I've done it as a fade... i feel like it needs the word camp? "Scout for blodfest camp" perhaps?

Things I would like to know / found very useful on DS:


- where to make some quick money to mend eq save up for h/h weapons
- how to re-eq solo (lithe equivalent)
- which shops /cities for vials
- how much pick for LS gates
- jump exits in some of the main cities
- HTF TO DO YOU MANAGE MOVES AAUGH

also

- how much track for mounts? (i get 85 on ls, but here some say 2 pracs, some say 3 etc)
- how much search is good for most stuff i would need? how much search if i go raiding?
- if i have free pracs, what should i throw it in? sneak/rsneak? how much?
- what are the clan bonsues or w/e? what's the syntax/mob to use them?
- where can i get no locs?
- how many human blood flasks and vials shold i carry if i go raiding?

This is something that Razhak just taught me a few days ago:

WHAT: Gold farming for warriors (and hunters?)
WHERE: Maradon Tunnels (Saldaean Veterans +1 Saldaean Soldier), Valley Bandits Around Crevice/Smellies, Ogier south of Lockshear
HOW: Kill a mob, type 'dismember corpse', then get all.bodypart - give the bodypart you get to the cook in Keep

WHAT: Fire the catapult
WHERE: At the Crossroads (in Orch)
HOW: say 'fire xxx' (where xxx is direction, north, east, south, west)
DETAILS: The trolloc will shoot things that will hit Pukes in the direction you say.

EDIT: I don't actually know what the catapult does, I've never been hit by it - but I think it deals damage and not mvs? I also *think* that it stays in the zone, but I'm not sure if it will cross zone borders or not, someone with more knowledge will have to answer that.

It hits anything actually. Trollocs, fades, dreadlords, humans, seanchan, etc
