Let us remove everything from the game and leave only warders and wbs on ls and abs trolls on ds.

No matter what, insta channeling mobs are not good for pk. Highly suggest doing whatever we can to minimize the damage. For example, maybe making DGs/DLs only flame strike or something. Would still be pretty powerful but not the insta deaths that they currently cause.
Good step. I’d just remove them all entirely. Or keep them in game and make them unable to weave like Tower Sedai. Ignoring Moridin etc of course. (So grateful TV was severely downed even if it is nearly impossible to kill someone there now)

Buff the areas with a few more mobs if you want.

Mobol weaves aren’t actual weaves just emotes, Thore, which is why you can catch 4 in one go and insta. So no weather doesn’t matter.
DG weaves are actual weaves, not emotes, just without a timer. Mobs in general don't have proper timers, which is why insta-charge patrols were a thing back in the day. Weather definitely does matter. Dreadguards, however, almost exclusively load up in hot zones and largely weave fireball.

Look at Kural though. Massive difference between hitting him when it is hot and his spikes melt vs cold.

I had a situation semi recently where Taim showed up out of nowhere into the nochannel Camp room basically on top of me, and barring some sort of weird bug it gave the appearance of being immortal intervention (he was healthy, he doesn't appear there normally, etc.). I was pissed.

Yeah weather does affect mob channeling.

Making them flame strike or hammer of air would make them still scary but not ridiculous, a good compromise imo.

Ilsae for example is still scary but doesn't wizkill. Think she only hammer of airs iirc.

The hustle and bustle of the tavern find their true level here. Crowded

This tavern is full of noisy men and women, drinking strong ale and wine.
Despite the rowdiness of the men, they always tone it down whenever a woman
glances their way. You also notice that the men aren't as crass with the

the world in general, and scribbles something on the board without thinking

Yeah, I thought they were affected by weather. Maybe not all of them, but at least some of them. I wonder if we could use that to our advantage. It would balance things a little bit.

Imm intervention in pk has always been dung. Generally leads to someone dying a horrible death. It’s not fun or funny. It’s just dumb, I’m sure the imm might think it’s cool. I wouldn’t feel to happy about getting someone through a crap scenario generated by stupidity. Channeling mobs have there place. There incredibly stupid. And we’ve all died to them rapidly before. Be nice if they can get downed to not insta weave multiple weaves.

The only justification for channeling mobs is there last stand spots. There meant to help in overwhelming odds situations. Where there’s not much hope otherwise. Generally that’s fairly often in pk. Given lopsided sides/groups/bonuses. So they are what they are. If there removed that’s cool. Less dung deaths. But probably less willingness to try to fight in some settings. Most people knowingly hit them. It’s the roaming ones that are annoying af.

Ahh I see you’re just as slow as you always were. Thanks for adding nothing Stan.

Good call out Weir/Jestin. I wasn’t aware that some were effected by the weather. Thank you for educating me.

I love imm intervention of all kinds! You're not used to dying? Stop discouraging imms from intervening! It's their way to "play a mortal" and create a memorable event for a player or players.

My idea of fun is not losing xp/gear to a imm with a god complex. Whose controlling unpredictable things that kill people rapidly. All for mob raids and imm interaction. Not in pk though. Specially not random involvements.

We do have some guidelines for mob use, but sometimes things are underestimated, the situation changes too quickly, or the imm is busy doing something in another room so they can't see what's going on. Or the imm is plain rusty. Or they're plain evil, like Vampa. :P ;) Just kidding.

In this case, I asked the other imms and no one indicated that they moved him. The imms I didn't hear back from weren't on at the time.

Channeling mobs seem to march to their own tune. I remember Selaana being flagged to stay put and not chase. Turns out her channeling coding did make her chase. Only a nomob kept her in place. Jerioz is not surrounded by nomobs, so that makes me suspect there's something going on there.
