I had my eq eaten several weeks ago. I'll have to look through my logs to get the exact date though.

A Quiet House
This is a neat and well arranged house set in the middle of the city. The
house is well furnished, and the room is centered on a large table. A
couch and several chairs surround the table. Bookshelves are stuffed
full with various tomes. The door lies to the south.

my equipment was eaten as well

and then it was back seems to disappear in the ruined keep rent when i leave that room i have it again.
I also get a weird message when i hit eq it says ok then after a sec it says nothing.

I noticed the same thing as Ghool about inputting the command (either eq or inv) and getting an "OK" message, then a delay followed by "you are using nothing" or "you are carrying nothing."

But in my case, the equipment wasn't eaten, I don't think: I was able to remove all and wear all, and my whole kit came off and on. Also if I looked at myself I saw the whole kit, too. It was in Caem rent. When I went 1s, inventory and eq commands seemed to work as normal.

(It wasn't on this character, and I neither logged it nor made a mental note of when it happened. Sorry! I was a bad nerd on that occasion! But now that I see we have a thread about it I figured I would throw this anecdotal evidence in the mix in case it helps.)

Anything that makes Iblis look like a dummy is a-ok in my books, but knowing how Elysia's April Fool's jokes become reality, this is just setting the stage for an equipment eating bug down the road.
