There are a few slots sadly lacking in the sheath department and I would like to request two locations be considered. I have been told that items with an ABS% cannot have a sheath, it is one or the other due to coding, so any item is assumed to have 0% ABS.

Feet: 'a pair of leather boots' 0db 0pb 12mv is the only option in the boot department.

I would request that the 'a laced pair of brown boots' 2db 3pb 16mv be considered as a sheath candidate at a minimum with additional options preferable.

Chest: There is no sheath for this equipment slot. I would like to request that one of the bearskin tunic variants have their ABS removed and a sheath added, or other items be adjusted to give an option in this category.

Hands: There is no sheath for this equipment slot, and I think that is fine since the wrist items pretty much cover this area.

Defeat the sheath menace. Even after the great de-sheathing there are still too many sheathes.

On the same topic, could we have 1 type of coat that have no sheaths at all?
The way it used to be was the silk coat had no sheath, I was fine with that since its not top end and very few using it. The reason id like a coat with no sheath is so sword sheaths become usable. /highjack

External sheaths are fine

I think this just illustrates the entire sheath problem. Some people want more sheaths. Some people hate sheaths. So we change the one item and then another person asks for it to be changed back.

Re: changing bearskin equivalents, that sounds like a bad idea, because I will guarantee you some years down the line someone will go "but they have different stats and they are exchanged as equivalents!".

Not sure how to solve this one though.

Forget the bearskin variant...

The laced boots would be nice because they are at least a serviceable level of gear, nobody uses them currently because there are so many better options for the feet slot.

The fact that items have to have zero ABS and even if they just have half the DB/PB of the top end stuff I would use them. People who don't care for sheaths will never use those items because of lower stats.

Laced boots and one chest piece PLEASE! Zero ABS%, 2-4 DB, 3-6 PB... is that asking for too much!?

I don't currently have any appetite for giving people even more places to hide knives. I don't think you're starved at the moment.
