Eh, about the only Rogue that has hate on it by the game itself is human, really. They're only use is solo smobbing garbage mobs and solo smobbing newbies on their own side imo.

Want to pk? Anywhere north of TV and west of Baerlon has a move cost of idiocy per room. If that's not enough, here's a rat, raven, crow or seanchan scout every 5 rooms you won't be able to avoid/kill in time to prevent it from telling the "pk sides" to swarm you. Bring 10 horses to stash! ... guy who needs to be on foot to use your skills. Blah, blah, blah, blah...

If anything, swapping WoTMUD to "Easy" means trolloc rogue if any race/comparison was, and even then they still won't try sneaking down past TV alone for some reason.

I'd lump seanchan in with them, but seanchan don't really suffer any of those things raiding human lands + are ridiculously easy to stat by comparison.

I disagree: I generally find it extremely un-entertaining to pk vs ds rogues (though there are a few cases of exception).

Removing no hides just moves people to other no hides. You don't like that players choose to congregate in rooms because they have an incentive to be in that room- doesn't show much perspective, understanding or introspection.

When people talk about the game being more dangerous they usually mean chokier - not more rogue friendly.

Experienced players have perfected this. Making horrible large ganks or bonuses the only way to kill. I can't recall having killed any master on a non-master. But that could just be me.

DS rogues are mind numbingly boring. But its the only class I have mastered on DS. And firetruck putting a time sink back into mastering another char.

The thing I find annoying is that if I am fighting multiple rogues solo (which happens a fair bit cause DS has so many rogues), they just spend the whole time trying to time a flee stab; but I just take Loomis' advice in that situation and go in because it is boring and there is no upside for me.

The things I find annoying is that you all blame DS rogues for just being fleebies trying only to stab. When last night we had a big fight going and arkaza just stood in room rolling stabs. Even as LS was getting meleed to death he just stayed hidden running stabs. And if he got engaged he would insta flee and come back trying to stab again. So its not just DS rogues.
