Right..ok..
Anyway, you see how I used those quotes around it and everything, that's called discretion. You know, so that we aren't posting words like that Masaj.
PK Behavior
Re: PK Behavior
General health of the mud = (number of angry, gripping saga threads • number of posts in each thread) ÷ ((duration of time between posting of each thread) ± number of imm responses) + (references to Kryyg or Langois sucking; or\and reasoned replies being ignored by hyperbole new postings within an hour of reasoned reply)
Current health of mud: Positioned between Lykan's tps lost to being bored and combined number of years mud players have been disenfranchised from voting due to their felony convictions.
Proposed solution: bring back Balance forum, SHOUT, and deport Rig to SS.

Re: PK Behavior
You can pretty much sum up the solution to all this pain with 'give people the benefit of the doubt'.
It's frustrating as hell running around haggard sometimes, wondering where the 'PK' vanished too, or with a group of 6 finally organised to hit the other group of 6 that has somehow vanished. Sure it's fair enough to have a moan about it when it happens, as long as you factor in all the realities that make up our playerbase, but it's not particularly helpful to attack people directly about it.
Some people don't want to chase around a solo troll thief, some people have less confidence, sometimes people run out of time, sometimes people just plain keep missing eachother by a room or 2. Like Lykan said, you get a fairly good handle on it if you consistently play multiple sides, but ultimately you can sum it up with a little bit more benefit of the doubt can go a good way to improving the atmosphere. Add in a bit more bravery, and a bit more patience... don't abandon PK 60 seconds after it goes away. Just give it a minute or five - often it's like herding cats trying to organise a group of people, and doing that to eventually get out to fight again and find the bad guys that outnumber you have vanished means the fun stops.
As a side note on how acid this thread feels - not even sure if it's worth posting without figuring it will result in more attacks.

Re: PK Behavior
Would probably just be best to have it locked.
