A couple things stood out to me here.
Vilac wrote:But for a different level of player, just being able to loot trinkets to help them could assist with their likability to the game and their own personal gains/accomplishments.
Erulak wrote:The trade-off for bonused gear is clearly NOTAKE.
The best players will always have the full kitted out bonus trinks and the players without access to them won’t be able to loot them.

This has probably already been suggested. But why not just make clan trinks no rent? Or have players police them?
If you can loot and exchange them for normal trinks then being no rent limits the people using them because you can only create them on a clanned character so each day they will essentially purge back to original form. Sure, some people might go to a bit of effort but so what.
The people that tend to wear other clan trinks are unclanned people who could probably use some kind of bonus as currently they have none. Wearing clan trinks of a clan you're not part of should have consequences both from your own clan and the clan who's trinks you are wearing.
If Joe wants to wear my clan trinks I'll warrant him. Joe needs to decide if warrant is worth occasionally getting +1 db on trinks. This might actually generate a bit of same side PK and the game could become more dangerous.

Immortals are trying to hand off policing clans to the clans... ask your self why? Because it is cumbersome, difficult and time consuming.
Remove red tape, remove clan bonuses, and !TAKE from clan trinkets.

Since we are coding limited, I agree with remove bonuses, remove no take, and remove base item to clan trinket exchange. Not sure on the clan trinket exchange problem.
It's mainly a qp sink for top players or masters/rank 8s that can already afford the costs. I can't be the only scrub that didn't issue clan trinkets while mastering and continues not to issue because clan trinkets don't seem to make much difference to me. I would rather slowly tic towards rank 8. So, calling the !take a qp sink solution is a bit of an infomercial problem, aka a solution to a problem that doesn't really exists.

Same side pk is frowned upon and you get blanket warrants across the globe if you kill Joe and his friend hears about it. One of the things that turned me off from ls same side pk is getting warranted by maradon and andor and some other nation because I stabbed their friend or whatever in AD. It ruins said character because you are blanket warranted and it also makes it so everyone just gets to try and kill you with no repercussions to themselves. This makes sense some how rp-wise I guess.
Therefore warranting for clan trinks is lol.

I have a FD warrant for killing an Accepted in Andor!
Clans won't police people wearing their trinkets because the people doing it are already high up members of said clan.

Remember when they disabled the ‘where’ command if you had more than 3-4 warrants? That was intense.

That was awesome, along with the pattern tug/push at you messages when a Ta, Re, Se were in zone
