I'm going to engage in a little hyperbole, but a few months ago everyone was sure that everyone out there was hitting the Borderlands max and that we would be overrun with 18 STR/16 CON FCs. Yes, there are people hitting the Illian and Altara/Murandy maxes. I've personally hit it on an alt - who is 400 year old. That said, I personally haven't even hit the Illian max yet on this char and I'm sure there are no shortage of people who are still hoping to improve their stats with time who don't have the max stats. Last I checked, its still hard as heck to stat a nice channeler from scratch. As much as I had a few fantasies about hitting Borderlands rank 8 max, Altara still has a very nice distribution. I don't think its something to be discontent about. That's just me. No tears for ABS FCs, what a waste of space (my apologies to the people who loved them)

One thing I don't think people realize is they can still stat the max blands channie afaik. The hps just cap at 280. You can still have the 18 str and 16 con regen which is godlike for a channeler anyway.

I dont have the numbers in front of me but iirc 16 con regeneration is minuscule compared to 14-15 that can still hit the 280 hp max. Just saying.
