See?? Those stats are FINE. You will probably want better in the future but you can worry about that when you know more about the game and can make an educated choice about how and what you want to play.

That's a perfectly fine warrior. It's simply a different playstyle than the 19 x 19 warrior we were talking about. I currently play a 19 19 17 warrior as well, so it's well worth keeping, growing into, and even clanning.

Ughhh. One of my absolute greatest pet peeves is random people telling new players to restat perfectly good characters. Please stop this nonsense and re-read the original post - if you don't have anything to add, please don't de-rail and please stop being counterproductive.

A 19 11 14 19 17 warrior is a great character - my combo warrior has stats that aren't as good as that.

Absolutely not. 19 19 17 I would consider super stated, there is nothing wrong with those stats. My first warrior was a 18 12 15 16 17, played it for about 8 years before I retired it. My three most played characters today are two 17 19 18 rogues, and a 18 xx xx 16 19 warrior.

In my first post I was trying to say that there is nothing wrong with not having perfect stats. That is the beauty of this game, a player playing 16 xx xx 16 16 could beat a 18 xx xx 19 19. Honestly, the only point that super stats make the difference is one extremely skilled player vs another.

This. Stats help to close the gap, but there is not substitute for knowledge and practice. That is a great warrior.

My first warrior was 18 11 11 17 19. I played him exclusively for about two years before I started playing Rig. 19 19 17 is great as everyone else has said. One of the best things about having 19 str/dex is you're getting Hella good warrior and thief pracs too.

I gave up because I spent way to much time statting, to get what was deemed a playable character.

I will tell you, I remember one day spending 8 plus hrs trying to do this (it takes a newbie much much longer than 30 mins, that is for sure).

I decided to try again, logged on when a 3x experience was happening.

I am playing a 16 14 12 15 16 male hunter, because I was at level 8 before I knew better.

Is it possible (i.e. not coding) to include a stone and mirrored lanterns in the starter kit? Could help with weapons getting scr and lack of lights during statting

I imagine many people suggested to you that a hunter is not the best character for a first timer. For one, the statting process is very tedious. The 30 minutes time frame is for statting a 19 19 warrior, which is the recommended class for a first character. However, some people are dead set on playing what they want, despite these suggestions.

If you still want to play a hunter for your first character, I would then recommend using prerolled stats, or find a hunter in the character giveaway thread.
