WOTMAFIA - Murder in Maredo - RACQUEL WINS!!

[Aldwyn]

Squinting as his eyes try to adjust to the sunlight, he steps out of his home and follows the sounds of people gathering near an alley. Unkempt and unwashed, Aldwyn doesn't have to struggle for people to make way for him as he walks towards the cause of the crowd. Reaching the front, he looks down at the mayhem and gags, panic washing over him for a moment.

"No! The time for that was over now." He thinks to himself. He turns and begins to walk back through the streets. "Now is the time for action, but what action to take?"

Aldwyn makes his way back to his place and bolts the door before sitting to figure out a plan.

Xoco enters the tavern, feeling nothing but distaste at the recent murders and the tragic, apparently accidental deaths of the inn staff. Some decent kaf and good conversation can fix the most upset stomach, but as Xoco made to take a seat at the bar, it was made plain that there was no kaf to be had. With a sigh, Xoco surveyed the tavern for anyone who seemed like one to provide at least the second tonic.. and was almost immediately drawn to gaze at a figure in clothes that marked them an outsider. Another stranger, a local, sat at their table, and the two were engaged in conversation. "I'll just go and introduce myself.."

[Astolfo]

Good townspeople of Maredo, this last evening it has come to my attention that Arkan is one who walks in the Shadow. We have lost one who perhaps misguided in his steps in the Light, never the less walked in it’s path! Today we must vote to lynch Arkan if we are going to have any hope of helping the Light claim victory!
Please stand with me. If I am wrong in my knowledge you know who must be next, even myself!

Well, we obviously must do something, before we're all picked off.

LYNCH ARKAN, I guess.

"For real?" Arkan couldn't believe his ears. He had quite literally done nothing. He hadn't even been able to hire a guard for his shop and now a couple townsfolk would lynch him while he was vulnerable and scared. It's not like he was very successful. No one should be envious. "I have lived my whole life in this town and I don't see anyone doing this."

Although Arkan sounds whiny, he has a point! There's no reason to believe he's guilty! NO LYNCH

Momma said the townsfolk want to Lynch old man Arkan. Rig is very sad. Rig don't trust outsider Astolfo. NO LYNCH

[Brocas]

Brocas breaks the conversation as Xoco approaches the table in the tavern. They have a nice smile and an attractive physique and look eager to join in the conversation. Brocas slides an empty near by chair up to the table allowing the newcomer to join them. They give each other their names and spend a while talking and flirting with each other.

[Paj]

A rough night she had. As she ambled through town again tending to children's cuts and bruises, she complained about the same children haunting her at night, making noises outside of her window. "No such thing as a little privacy. someone trying to peek in on old Pajana's goodies." Pajana grinned, most teeth intact but one or two off at odd angles. She shooed the children off before seeing to the gossip and adults of the town.

"Bubba. Don't know him. Probably led something in the town or was running from something. He can lead it off again and be done with it."

"Arkan... don't know anything about that one either. Just live and let live, so many chit chatters, suspiciions, I can't tend to dead people. NO LYNCHis cleaner than dealing with another dead body."

Pajana hefted up her heavy skirt from the small crowd in a doorway and ambled off to another part of town where she heard someone crying.
