A gold duping bug was reported, should the auction stay on or not?

After watching this auction, I'm wondering whether the Immortals will ever do another and if they didn't I couldn't blame them.
As usual something fun gets done for the game and the players and guess what, the players find a way to troll each other to the point of stupidness.
A little lighthearted trolling is fun but what I have seen lately on the forums and in game .... its terrible. And what a lot of you dont seem to get is that it is a big part of what is killing this game, its turning into a toxic community when we should be becoming a closer community with our low numbers. Blame Imms, blame coding blame anything you want and keep trolling and telling yourself your not doing any harm, I bet the bully that picked on you in highschool thought the same thing.
How about we wake the firetruck up, too a problem we can all take part in fixing.

Better idea would probably be to redo the auction with sids/gchains/jcuffs/grings/whatever as currency. grings=1, sid/gchain=2, jcuff=4, and then people can make offers and then match their offer with the trinkets. ie. Iria bids 12 on a blinding rod, I'd need to come up with 6 sids or 3 jcuffs or any combination
Re: A gold duping bug was reported, should the auction stay on or not?
I dislike issuable trinkets being used as currency. I'm really glad the Imms put smobs into the games that have a chance of loading them because we need a true market for them. Its always going to be way easier to acquire them through PK and issuing than through putting in the time to smob. With some recent items being incredibly close in defense to the top line trinkets I hope our future is one without issuing. rantover

Re: A gold duping bug was reported, should the auction stay on or not?
Well all equipment is easier to get through PK basically. Anyway would be easier to police the issuing of trinks over the abusing of gold bug. Ie. Iria issues 50 gold rings in a week, should probably look into it

Bring back clan trink bonuses, but make them not exchange at weary!
Re: A gold duping bug was reported, should the auction stay on or not?
Could let people spend set amount of gold on said items.
I mean, if someone wants to soend(waste, no offense) X hundred hours of real life gathering XX thousand gold crowns, let there be an in-game market for purchasing rare items. Its just text and they're likely to lose it anyhow. Some people are better at gathering gold then PKing or SMOBing Haran/Moridin/Silvak for rare items. Those people are the ones at hurt here.
Jerais could use better/rarer items than tooled leggings for as tough/rare as he is to find. It would be a massive gold sink and real use for large amounts of money. People would sell stuff more to save for bigger items.

Good idea, but all of this is moot until/unless the bug is fixed.Paj wrote:
