So I have had this happen to me personally. Every time I have ever tried to enforce rules or laws or anything up north, I have gotten nothing but complaints and basically told I was wrong by certain people. Hell most of them don't even play anymore from what I can tell. They just lurk on forums and pop in to be an ass most the time. THAT'S why I quit caring. It's not worth all the drama and feeling like dung for enforcing the law.
This with me too. I am also curious why Immortals are suddenly choosing in game methods to enforce clan laws, but that is above my pay grade. Maybe I missed something? Work has been atrocious recently and I have not been able to do much more than check clan forums and try to respond to mails.

Ummmm we did investigate. As Isabel said, we obtained logs and spoke to numerous people involved. And we have a thorough discussion within the clan. So, categorically wrong.
Only because I demanded it. Isabel actually didn't want to ask any of the witnesses. It was up to me to prove my innocence and she was very happy to take Paitar's word. Her words were actually that it is not her job.

Your warrant was removed the day after it issued. Your part is done. You are also not entitled to know and have absolutely no say over what happens within our clan, including but not limited to whether we choose to punish Paitar and, if so, what such punishment is.
Isabel indicated it was still being investigated and I may be re-warranted and I would hear back from the clan. Even Alterith who pardoned me said if it was found I had mislead him into pardoning me (at the time neither of us knew why I was wanted) then I would be warranted again and Paitar then came forward. I never heard back from the clan. I mailed multiple times, I spoke with Benito/others who were actually helpful but also indicated such matters were the responsibility of the council. If I am not going to hear back from you then don't tell me to keep waiting or that I will.

Why does the whole Paitar thing matter though?

Because this is a rare instance where someone corruptly abusing their power actually got caught. Imagine if all we had to go on was Paitar's word? I would have an FD warrant for doing nothing wrong and you would make me jump through ridiculous hoops to get a pardon like not same-siding people outside of Shienar (something I am RPishly obligated to do). Then when I kill some Marath'damane in Tar Valon I would be re-warranted just like what you did to Boboliosie.

Now, I will always back my clan mates as I would expect you to. However, if they lie to warrant people and act corruptly, I will come down hard on them.

In every other clan people are punished for this and I can tell you with absolute certainty Paitar has not been punished for it in any form.

Not sure if you sent the mails to all Council, but the only mail I got from you I responded to on February 22, indicating we were looking into things.
Mails were sent to the entire clan because I never saw any council other than Isabel on and she frankly is trigger happy on the warrants and wants absolutely nothing to do with pardoning anyone.

I highlighted this as an issue in this thread because it is a prime example of why auto-jailing is implemented. Because players don't want to police things properly and staff don't have time to make you do it properly.

Where did I say any of that? Don't make up nonsense. I was the one who followed up.

We always follow up, so stop crying about what would have happened if you hadn't "demanded" an investigation. We check on things because that's part of how the warrant/pardon process works, not because someone is throwing a tantrum over nothing.

Throwing my name in there as someone that had a FD warrant for killing tower in Andor.

Don't act like it's a rare occurance. There are certain lancers that have the opinion they can world police by restricting the easy access to qp.

Can you guys take this dirty laundry elsewhere? It was fun reading at first but took this topic so far off track.

Is this for real?

Might I remind everyone that this is a game, and it's a pardon quest do some things, get a pardon.

There is no option to turn it into a pardon with lifetime parole wherein a clan can rewarrant you on a whim based on actions outside of its jurisdiction and against the underlying warranting rules.

I'd greatly appreciate insight from the administration on this new whack effort to gatekeep certain clans/playstyles from participating in North PK.

P.S. pardon the empty quotes, couldn't think of a better way to ping uninvolved parties to a particular thread/post.
