I don't think I'm undermining your knowledge of McCarthyism so much as straight up saying you missed the entire firetrucking point of it. The fact that it was essentially a government official leading a witch hunt that cast a pretty broad net (that, again, WEIRDLY, mostly caught Jews) with pretty much no evidence. That's not remotely comparable. You don't need an extensive understanding of McCarthyism to get that.
P.S. Find me a book on sarcasm too.

I'm shutting up after this, but does everyone think these people in power are idiots? Bush made the act-like-an-idiot en vogue. Everyone always talks about them like they are idiots (exception being Pelosi, but I can't release my confirmed source of that off the record, but hes on the committee with her).

Wotmud should teach you that everything is money and military and politics are best analogized as, "when people start RPing to fight others expressed ideals."

There is really no politics, there is only warfare.

I can't release my confirmed source on this off the record, but I've heard Arkaza is an idiot.

But seriously -- there are a lot of Rs and Ds that are incredibly smart working in the government, and they sort of have to be because the government is a great example of the pareto principle. Which is fine, because the private sector honestly is not that much better. I just wouldn't necessarily look to people who got elected to be uniformly among those because it's an entirely different skill-set, and literally anybody can run for any office, actual qualifications notwithstanding.

Keep trolling and telling yourself the military/private sector doesn't run dung. I guess the stock market isn't rigged in Faul-land either :)

Everyone knows "the stock market" is rigged, but a few people are curious enough about it to disambiguate between HFT (which is the part of it that's pretty much rigged) and the rest of "the stock market". Check out Flash Boys, pretty fascinating book. Almost as fascinating as people who complain about updating regulations in the same breath that they complain about technology making components of capitalism noncompetitive.

HFT front running is not rigging, it's skimming. Continued derailing on point though. Straight fire.

Sorry for randomly bringing up stock market rigging, because that was totally me and not you! You can now resume your totally on topic and not completely idiotic deep state rants.

#MAGA#JAILHILLARY#IMPEACHPENCETOPRESIDENT

It's all horseshit. Hillary more than Trump in my opinion because political experience is like waving a shovel of manure around. That's great you have it, nice pile, it's still crap. Trump had as much right to run as a warehouse stock boy from Detroit. Trump just had more money and friends that helped him. He made promises
And like every other president won't keep half of them.

Is it horrible other countries play with other peoples elections through media? Eh, kinda. But to say they can't is to allow countries to blackout outside communications, then were no better than China or North Korea. Politics has always been about who can wave around the biggest stinkiest pile of horse manure. And if the neighbor throws manure over the fence you put on your big boy pants and deal with it.

And yeah it sucks that we have to get our news through MSM. Otherwise it's what... government-run news? Crowd-fed news/Reddit? Alternatives are just as much a joke. It's always been about who spins it better.

If a country is dependent on US politics they are selling themselves short. Yeah friendly relations is great, but if countries are taking handouts and protection from the US then they shouldn't have a damn say about our politics. They can say what they want to other people in their country and elect who they want in their country. If they want a say then they can hand taxpayer money back to the taxpayers.

Election wasn't rigged. Wasn't spoiled by Russians. It was messed up by the politicians who ran them and everyone who did or didn't vote. Call them people idiots? Sorry not everyone has the time to be a political savant and know the airspeed velocity or weight ratio of a coconut carrying pigeon in Trumps pocket. Does he speak English? Great. Does he support most of my ideals? Great. Did he wrong me? I'll call my representative. Does my representative wrong me? Ok I'll not vote for him and tell my friends and get a different one. Every politician is dishonest to some degree. Resisting for four years, not representing constituents in congress, and fighting on party lines is as stupid as starvation for a cause.

The best thing the US has for it is we have a balanced power system of government branches. They do well enough to push each other's buttons, they don't need money wasted on a 'resistance' or 'movement' that only destroys portions of our society.k

Just wanted to drop a few thoughts. Regular hard-working conservative American. Boys have a penis and girls have a vagina. No men in the women's restroom. Guns for everyone. No citizenship, no greencard, no right to American values and protections.

I shall respectfully have to disagree whole heartedly with you Paj, but I am not going to give a personal attack or so on. We spoke in game a while ago when I posted this initial thread.
It would be so boring for the Trolls and flamers if we all agreed.
