My two favorite parts of this:

1) Trump claims Comey begged to keep his job, when Comey had no reason to do that. 3 years into a 10 year term and Trump said he was doing great. I definitely believe the Comey side that Trump asked for a pledge of loyalty.

2) Trump tweeted about "tapes." He put the tapes in quotation marks, which is weird. But also, everyone really hopes the tapes exist.


I actually don't think Trump himself had, or at least believes he had (because he is the type to agree to things not realizing what they are), any dealings with the Russians to influence his campaign. But at some point he should be asking himself "what the firetruck is up with all these Russian agents who are my top advisors?"

Comey had it coming. As for the mixed story, why cant it be both? He had made up his mind and the ags rec went hand in hand with it. Clinton needs to be in a deep dark cell somewhere for all of her crimes. Crimes comey himself laid out. Ok, I hope you are being facetious. First, propaganda works. It worked for WWII and Vietnam, worked on the German people and the Nazis. The reason it is used is because it is effective. Hell, how many "main stream" media outlets were legitimately reporting on the so-called Pizza-Gate nonsense, or how many people reported on -- and viewers believed -- that Clinton personally ordered Americans to be executed? And even if all of it were true, I would sincerely hope that you would care about a hostile foreign government hacking and influencing elections, even if it lead to your candidate being elected.

You have got to be kidding me. The problem is that the explanations are mutually exclusive. Either you were going to fire him because you wanted to for months, or you only decided to fire him following the recommendation of the AG (who oddly recused himself from this very thing but is happy to recommend firing the FBI director). And, much like Flynn, you knew he was incompetent/unfit for his job long before you fired him. That indicates an ulterior motive. Not to mention that it firing the head of an independent agency that is conducting an investigation into your alleged collusion with a foreign power (which is arguably treason under 18 USC 2381) indicates further ulterior motives. Trump didn't fire Comey until after Comey testified and confirmed there was an investigation into Trump. The writing is on the wall.

As for charging Clinton and people involved with the investigation...do no other lawyers play this game? There wasn't enough evidence to initiate charges, meaning there was no PROBABLE CAUSE (a ridiculously low standard) to convene a grand jury. Also, Pence did the same thing when he was a governor, but I don't see the right up in arms about that one.

It's obvious that one faction of the deep state helped Trump. Another faction didn't want Trump OR didn't want Trump AND didn't want Hillary.

As for charging Clinton and people involved with the investigation...do no other lawyers play this game? There wasn't enough evidence to initiate charges, meaning there was no PROBABLE CAUSE (a ridiculously low standard) to convene a grand jury.

I'll use this one as it's a pretty easy example of how clever Comey and crew are.

The FBI can only provide the evidence and SUGGEST prosecution, then it's up to the Justice Dept. They knew the JD would not prosecute and the evidence would be sealed. In putting it all out in the open, and with the correct timing, he destroyed her.

I make my mind up about things a lot, keep it to myself, then get some re-affirmation along the way. I can almost guarantee I am not the only one.

As far as the list of crimes. You say Trump has committed a litany of them? Put his ass in jail too then. I'm not so much "pro trump" as I am "anti clinton", which extends out to being mostly anti liberal.

As far as claiming comey was great, I think you have me mixed up with someone else. The above to posts are the only 2 I've ever made in this thread, and they're 2 of the something like 5 i've made total in general.
