Apex Legends
Re: Apex Legends
Back to Apex! All other games feel slow after playing Apex legends. Apex is a really fast moving game and exciting.
Re: Apex Legends
Welp. I tried it. First match we took the championship, me and 2 other randos! It was interesting.
Re: Apex Legends
I have now dedicated some time playing Apex legends. A few observations:
1. Best if you are in a group and play together often.
2. It is hard to go back to other games after playing Apex. Apex is just so much faster. Sliding makes a huge difference as well.
3. Keep your mic on. Even if you’re playing by yourself, ping everything and talk to your team - even if they don’t respond. It’s very helpful, and they may be able to hear you.
4. Land in the same place over and over again. This will help you learn an area well.
5. Keep moving! Never stop moving. Side to side movements and getting the first shot off can make the difference.
6. Keep looking ahead.
7. Keep the sights of your weapon up or where people may enter a room. I like to always aim, even if firing from the hip, at the nearest door or walkway. The tendency is to look down when picking things up. Taking a second to aim may make the difference in a one on one.
8. Revive your teammates. It’s much easier to win towards the end with three targets, rather than one or two. Even if they’re bad and not very helpful, another target for your opponents to aim at will keep you alive longer.
9. Landing on the supply ship can be a ton of fun. Don’t waste any time and pick up everything and be ready.
10. With 50 million people playing it, there are a lot of people that are good at this game! Be patient. ( this comes from someone who lacks patience when gaming evident from his time here)

Mail me for my gamer tag for Xbox if you are on that console and would like to join me!
Re: Apex Legends
Quick note, it appears that Respawn separates matchmaking for solo/duo queues vs full 3-man squads, so expect more organized engagements in a full group. Definitely prefer playing with a group, but just something to be aware of if you normally solo queue.Orino wrote:1. Best if you are in a group and play together often.
They released a minor nerf to wingman/peacekeeper which is nice too. They're definitely err'ing on the side of caution with changes instead of reacting too quickly (not including actual bugs).
Re: Apex Legends
I also heard they are going to shrink some of the larger “hit boxes“ like Caustic/Gibraltar/Pathfinder.
Great game, great updates!
