I understand the concept behind the like and dislike. I think some degree of thinking this person is ok and not completely disliked. Trump is mostly a poster boy for memes, and representing his party so badly.
Yes the Father of Ump-a Loompa's isn't doing a great job at even pretending not to be an immature half wit.
We aren't voting for looks, for pure ability to run a Country of that size. Trump is a failure in mind and soul. His various ventures have gone bottoms up, his attitude to everything is backward and nonsensical. Hilary isn't that much of a looker, I would vote purely for her experience and her transgressions are what compared to his?

I was having a similar conversation, it's a shame people can't actually vote for those they really like. Its a vote for xx due to getting zzz out of power.
I just go by Trumps transgressions compared to Hilary= makes sense not to vote for that man..Seriously he is a joke.

I find it fascinating how Trump is even a contender in this. I get the whole ant-establishment vibe, and the international mood against globalisation from people who haven't seen the benefits, but Jesus, how the hell do you then get to the conclusion that Trump is the answer to that? The only answer Trump is the answer to, is "who is a giant, self-involved misogynistic numbnuts that's going to destabilise international relations?"
I find it interesting you cucks learned nothing from the brexit vote. When the political parties don't show any interest toward the uneducated white middle class to poor population then of course they will feel not heard and become frustrated as well as feel disenfranchised. When someone like Trump comes along and speaks for them in an extremely direct way unlike any other candidate has in recent memory of course that's going to galvanize that base and make them feel like they finally have someone who gives a dung about them, especially when they've been largely ignored in favor of rich whites in their own party, or minorities and rich whites in the other party.
I think it's fairly easy to see why people vote for Trump, even though I just put my ballot in the mail that has Hillary selected as my choice. But I make it a habit to think from different perspectives, I guess I shouldn't expect other people to do that or to be capable of it!

Trump is just an immature angry buffoon. He never says it how it is, he just spouts rubbish that some Americans see as reason.
How he even wasn't dropped , before he got selected for candidate is beyond me.
Ah well hope Canada has its gates open enough come November the 9th.

This country has been run by people with their own agenda for a very long time. It's not For The People anymore, it's For Me And What Makes Me Rich/Gives Me Power ect. Usually we choose the lesser of two evils but there is no lesser of two evils here. We're pretty fucked either way.

Probably the most sensible comment in this thread. It's a shame that both parties have a vested interest in keeping it this way...
Edited to add that the same more or less applies to the UK, unfortunately.

Pial, do you ever get bored of being a hideous troll? I'm saying I understand the anti-establishment vote, I grew up in areas of Britain that were hugely pro-Brexit. I just find it astonishing how Trump can be seen to represent it, given his huge, high-profile life of luxury. Given your rhetoric towards starting arguments, are you sure you didn't vote Trump?
Feeding the trolls aside - to be honest one of the biggest problems with the Trump candidacy is his position on climate change. On the anniversary of the single most important global agreement for the future of the planet, we've got a potential President who has claimed that climate change is some sort of global conspiracy set to disenfranchise America, and wants to remove America from the agreement - the single most important member of said agreement.

And what's happening to the Republicans is busy happening to our opposition currently, but in the opposite direction.
