Unclanned turning in scalps won't count, as that would open the door to all sorts of nonsense. Unclanned can assist, but it makes no sense for Bobby the Farmer's turn in to contribute to a win for any given clan.Tandrael wrote:I have an additional question. Clans often have people who are unclanned assist them in wars (apprentices, well-wishers, those with some kind of vendetta against the opposing clan, etc.). What happens when someone who is in clanned turns in war scalps?
War system questions
Re: War system questions
Re: War system questions
Can we get a list of clans and cities that count? For example does Dragonsworn count?
Re: War system questions
I would assume it is any of the clans currently listed in the barracks.
Re: War system questions
Does HoL count as a clan alone? If not are we able to assist CoL?
Can I be the only one active in random clan, get some friends from other clans to help me take out the patty of a place I declare war on or does the group need to consist of just the attacking clan?
I just saw that unclanneds can assist, what about members of other clans? What about gaidin/tv guards/gleeman/etc

Re: War system questions
Do we turn in player scalps to the General or to the tacticians clerk and log it?
Do applicant's to the clan count as valid kills?
How about bandwagon jumpers? Say I'm attacking a Red Eagle and a Dragonsworn groups up and joins the fight. Does the Dragonsworn count?

Re: War system questions
*oL and Seanchan should really take into account their fellow clans, but it would be up to players to create a stink if one group declares war without consulting the others.keim wrote:Does HoL count as a clan alone? If not are we able to assist CoL?
We won't be policing who takes out the patrol with any faction, just make sure someone of a clan who is in the war turns in the scalps/banners. E.g. I'd expect Tower to assist Andor in some way, but an Andoran would have to turn in the banner to the Andoran general.keim wrote:Can I be the only one active in random clan, get some friends from other clans to help me take out the patty of a place I declare war on or does the group need to consist of just the attacking clan?

Re: War system questions
You turn scalps in to the general, as he counts war efforts and imms are not going to check turn in logs all over the place to do the tally. If you turn in to the wrong mob, that's your (clan's) loss.Anor wrote:Do we turn in player scalps to the General or to the tacticians clerk and log it?

The Dragonsworn would only count if you were in a war with Dragonsworn, as they aren't an Eagle. Ditto for unclanned. We aren't going to do a situational review of every pk and who sided with who, as any scenario where non-Eagle scalps would count would equal opportunities for killing innocents and claiming they were assisting Eagles in order to drive up the score. We're keeping it simple. It's clan vs clan.
Re: War system questions
Will the general still award QP for the kill?
Re: War system questions
Basically it sounds like multiple clans should team up to attack one clan. This works as long as the multiple clans make sure they keep track of the scores and help each other out so no one in the multiple clan groups falls below the clan they are attacking. This way 2-3 clans can end up dominating against the one clan and crushing them with multiple demands over the next 6 months.
Time for each clan to announce their affiliations. Of course this is also how world wars start.

Re: War system questions
In which scenario? The Dragonsworn assisting the Eagle? Yes, the general will award for the Dragonsworn head. It will simply not count towards your warpoints.Anor wrote:Will the general still award QP for the kill?
