Big reason why this place is dung. The whole "it's only 10 people" thing is bullshit, wotmud is full of trolls and there are less and less nice people around. There's absolutely no reason why I should play this game over literally any other game including tetris or firetrucking frogger when logging on to wotmud means that I might get randomly called a a small bundle of twigs, commonly used for fuel and mocked for being offended by the slur, or when you have posts like Masaj trolling Alaina with a fake apology, regardless of who Alaina is, and there is no one to step in and stop the bullying.

I agree with the lack of response to the bullying and so on. Even with knowing Alaina can take care of herself, it's still a sad thing to see.

I was playing again until the above happened. Having to take care of yourself during a leisure activity completely defeats the purpose of it being a thing you do when you have a bit of spare time to chill out.

Oh man, Krul is a moral authority on not bullying and trolling now. That's great. Why is it always the biggest a small cat called Nigel who end up having the most righteous indignation? It's like clockwork. Like, do you even recall the simpering little mails you sent me apologizing when your years of trolling blew up in your face when you eventually wanted/needed something? Good thing I wasn't playing much at the time, I'm sure you wouldn't have liked my response there either.

Also - someone did step in. Alaina had a real issue seeing the "'c-word!!!!" spelled out (even when it was not referring to her as that -- literally just the word and mocking her use of "c-word") and someone made a pretty hilarious forum filter for it. I don't know anyone else who has gotten such direct attention to their need to be babied about a certain word that strikes the perfect balance of being extremely offensive but does not have a historically hateful connotation.
