What kind of damage does it do? (As in, type, not amount?)

Since it doesn't stab, I'm guessing it's not a piercing weapon?

Therefore maybe instead of something with "prongs," which I imagine as all pokety-pokey, maybe this could be knives of some sort?

And then, on a personal note, I like it when we have some weaps in a class that are not as opulent (in an RP sense). So something fairly unassuming, with no precious metals or jewels, but well-made...

Maybe along the lines of:

a matched set of heavy knives

or

a pair of long, single-edged knives

Which nation in WoT was known to make really good steel? Was that Andor, or Tear, or both? If it's possible to start the weap name without an article ("a" or "an") I would suggest

two knives of keen Andoran steel

(I like how it reads a lot less if it has to say "a pair of knives of keen Andoran steel")
