If you wanna put together a jcuff/gown set and test, go for it. All I can do is speak from experience. :P

I had 142 sat far more than not by Grabel's jagged. And I, with 17 str, sat Milian in his dodge/unique tunic dbelt set with a jagged. Granted that has master bonuses in the mix, but it was consistent enough for me to think it was silly that I could do it at all.

I can only attest to personal experience here brosef. Ask Thuvia to figure out the numbers if it's that big a deal to you.

What Razhak said. When dealing with probabilistic mechanics, it is always possible to witness a string of events which, while improbable, is not impossible. Add in various observational biases to which we are naturally prone...we assign far more weight to unexpected events than expected.

Flip a coin or roll dice enough times, and eventually you'll see a dozen heads in a row or get snake eyes as many times consecutively. The human response to such an occurrence is to assume the dice are loaded or it's not a fair coin. But, we roll lots of dice lots of times in this game, and only notice when they don't roll the way we expect.

In the end, as Mantorok said, the only way to settle such arguments is by rigorous, controlled testing. It's just a question of finding the time and patience to do so.

It's all in the dice. The last week to 10 days I can't seem to land a bash. I've repeatedly gone whole fights where I would land maybe 1 on an abser or comboer. Funnily enough, I noticed the same with some opponents, we'd both spend most of the fight sitting down after toppling. Aira also fails a ton of flees lately. My channie fails a ton of weaves. But my stabber's been golden. It's just rolls.

Right? The dice rolls never made sense to me. We get the scenario above, where a 142 kit, which is very high end since you'd need rare items and uniques to get more without a weave, and it gets trashed.

Then you get a comboer or abser that you CANNOT bash with even a great bashing weapon. :P

Yeah, we've had this argument before about dodge and it just gets silly. Dodgers claim they get sat every round by copper daggers, bashers miss every bash on a dodger zerk ect. There's a lot of variables, masters, weapons, weights blah, without serious testing it's hard to say for certain. I know I miss every bash, but then I also get bashed every time so...

Actually all that parry increases the bash of the jagged!
