Come on you know how that works. People talking on chats about someone cheating is strictly OOC and people talk to each other OOC. Everything gets back to Rig or whoever eventually.

Doesn't really matter how that works pounds. I never had a conversation with him about it as livendros. I did however post several times on another character of mine saying that that log looked very suspicious and I believe somewhere in the comments he even agreed it was suspicious. Thus I believe he was trying to out my alts and is backpedaling because he knows that's a big No-No.

If people could please get back on track on how we can maintain uniques in a less time consuming way, that'd be great.

I agree, rather I think all imms agree, that uniques having a timer is ideal. What's worse is there is a timer slot on weapons, but no imm can change or toggle it. So tantalizingly close. IF it even does what we hope it does heh. For all we know it plays into bash or stab timers. :?:

E.g. the boring plain old rapier:
Weight: 3.5, Cost: 80, Rent/day: 3, Timer: 0

They're all MC hammers, I guess, because I can't touch this. :|

Just let them all decay and add back in as they come out. I usually know where they're all at so you should just ask me!

The only ones that I have no idea about are lamans folly/silver greaves and vambs

It's counter-intuitive, but I suspect uniques would get a little more play if they were all set to not decay. Otherwise, you get what we all hate, which is players renting items before smobbing and exping, etc.

Maybe we need something more clear cut as to what is active play? To me I'd say at least a PK kill a week/two weeks, if you are going on holiday toss the weapon to a friend, this isn't a whole lot but does mean that x has to go look for some bad folks. Pk is the main point of circulation of EQ, and if x just goes out to smob/exp for 2 hours every month, before logging on their other alt, there won't be much circulation, unless they get chanced upon by some badguys. But yeah probably not a bad idea to cut down the uniques we have.

The problem with this approach is that PK in wotmud has always depended upon a little bit of good faith. Once you're known for darken, or killing horses, or caning groups, or ridiculous baits, people will just leave once you show up, or not chase even when they may be winning. Is that what I am known for? I would say I pretty fair in regards to pk. I spend my “free time” to even wait and alt to balance the side which is lower on the pkers to balance the pk. It seems livendros has something personal against me. If it was something of importance perhaps I would recall the scenario but it seems to be quite trivial.

I think you're a perfect example of the lengths people will go through for this stuff and also the sickness that drives this game.

In regards to the log you're talkin about if everything was done on the up-and-up then all it was was a tactical error maybe forgetting the door locks for forever. However the thing is it's a big if. How did you even know he was online? How did you know his location? I mean it was a kill Squad you set up to get back a piece of text. Once again I'm saying if everything was on the up-and-up great and all but I'm saying that's a big if. It's also just the tip of the iceberg for dung like this.

Please be aware there are ways to actively play the game that don't include pking. I also don't mean idling in clanrents, throne rooms and city squares. Furthermore, there are those players that don't enjoy pk and as such, rarely seek it, and even more rarely is a new kill mark added to their trophy.

Thanks in advance for acknowledging play styles totally alien to the rest of you.
