Ahhh you are right that was the step below! Didn't that get introduced a little later in life though?Madin wrote:Two-fisted flamberg!Neveyan wrote:This.Atlan wrote:Great Claymore will always hold a special place in my heart. Re: what was your favorite weapon
Laman's is the best weapon in the game and it's never been particularly close.
Of my master weapons:
Crusunte: 'a broken whiskey bottle' - just a plain old retooled CC or some other dagger. Just really enjoyed the name and it went with the character.
Tekela: 'the black swan naginata' - when they re-imped R8 bonuses, the sinister tridents showed up on the list of base options. So I put everything on weight. Had a weapon that could bash decently, attack, charger, and was 2-handed so the pracs were pretty easy. I also had the option of fly charge, but I don't think I ever actually used/landed one with that. That didn't last.

I quite liked the metal banded cudgel when it was first introduced as a 1h ~15 lb club that pierced.

Large steel spear
Re: what was your favorite weapon
my first jeweled dagger which I got from killing an old woman in Emond's Field after a large trolloc battle in the area, took me many times of killing the old women to find that it was a flook and she had picked up items from the ground! Later someone took me to kill the lithe woman with the ankle bracelet to get another.
Re: what was your favorite weapon
I miss typing on chats: "Trading a claymore for a LSS".
A large steal spear was the blast!

Claymore all the way. The dmg just felt sooooo satisfying whenever I got one.
That and old eaxe. I felt godly whenever I got my hands on one of them.

Re: what was your favorite weapon
The leatherleaf staff before the changes. Before it was made too heavy for majority of the White Tower
2handed, so lots of saved pracs.
good defense
it did actually hit things a bit!
and it was so easy to reequip, that was the best part!

Leatherleaf staff now, that it can bash things
jk.
Otherwise, there are a few that come to mind. Sinister trident - an attacking, charging weapon, heartstone spear for the same reasons. Loved old OCG when it was amazing def, great bash, great damage.
Also, Ruby Dagger for flavor.

Seconded.Enok wrote:Hands down, the black-tasseled spear.
I'm still annoyed over the name change. Completely unnecessary.
EDIT: Granted, i still retool my bts back to black.
