Great link! I didn't realize PBS named the series one of the 100 best reads, OR that Tor was doing another re-read. I'll have to start following it. I don't think that I can do a full re-read all on my own again. :P

I remember someone once saying on an older version of the forums; "Robert Jordan writes a hundred pages on an Aes Sedai brushing her hair".

I did a full reread (minus the prequel) starting in Dec 2016 and it took me to June 2017 to finish. I've read the series multiple times throughout the years but never from first to last like that. The best part about a re-read is skipping the braid-tugging, dress-detailing, woman sighing and/or eye-rolling that is so prevalent in WoT.

A detailed chapter summary can be found at https://library.tarvalon.net/index.php? ... _Summaries

A super-abbreviated chapter summary can be found at http://www.wotsummary.com/

I'm probably in the minority, but I enjoyed the 1:30 AM TV airing of the Wheel of Time Pilot staring Billy Zane.

I did a full reread starting a few months before the final book came out. I actually discovered some chapters that i had skipped in the past because they were like in book 10 and dealing with the super chicks being dumb. And while I'd already reread most of the books a few times, never that one :-P Don't think I'll ever do a reread again, though.

yeah you're probably in the minority, I enjoyed it just because it was WoT, but it was the droppings of a horse

I liked it because Ileyna was hot. Even in 480p way back when.

Heard some whispers about this a while ago but was trying to temper expectations - it's awesome to get confirmation!!!
