It's no secret that SS is my favorite side. My dream is to restore SS to an active and thriving playerbase. A lot of people loved SS in the past, but I truly feel that past neglect from immortals led to a slow and painful death. That sort of thing is hard for players to forget. It's difficult to invest in a side where no one is investing in you.Lord Pe wrote:I didnt read most of this. I am going to say one major reason i dont play my seanchan is because it is constantly being rank 0d. It is especially annoying with a mostly absentee immortal staff and viewing the clan and seeing people at their normal rank who havent played in a very long time. I like to pop on every so often. I dont like to be hassled. I am very anti wotmud time sinks anymore. I dont feel like it will be much longer before i have a fat lady post of my own.
I do believe that this is slowly changing. We have an imm that's involved on SS and he's been quick to respond when we needed help. We have asked for things and gotten them really quickly. I think that if people work together and really try to rebuild SS, we can revitalize it, but the most important thing is going to be putting away our negative attitudes and feelings and actually committing to making SS a fun side to play again.
