So im not sure if the recent changes to automating exp chits and the "last chance" turn in posts means reroll chits are no longer a thing, or if this is on the nwih list, if so let me know and I will delete this post. If not...
I wanted to propose the ability to use these chits either immediately or after what I feel would be a more reasonable time, say 50 or 100 years old. 200 mud years is, I believe, several years irl, and is it really that big of a deal to have great stats? It would give that 18 16 16 the ability to jump right in with the knowledge they could upgrade relatively soon vs knowing they are locked in for years, a commitment many of us realize but few of us thought would happen when starting the game.
The only downside I can see is borderland channelers beefing up faster, but imo the stat caps for the borderlands channelers are the issue there, not the ability to reroll.
Using reroll chits before age 200.
Re: Using reroll chits before age 200.
I think the restriction is more because using a reroll chit just has the immortals flick a switch saying "age reroll eligible" basically, and if you aren't already 200, this simply doesn't work. I think you have to be already past 200 for the process to function, not that they don't want people rerolling early.
Re: Using reroll chits before age 200.
The game will only let you reroll if you're age 200. Then it essentially sets you to 1/1 used. At that point, we can set it to 0/1 used. Before 200 and before you've even rerolled, we cannot do that and it wouldn't let you reroll anyway, so your idea is physically impossible. Also note that reroll chits are now out, although obviously if one were to attain rank 8 on LS/SS before 200 years old you would still get a reroll. However, even then this would still not be possible until one has hit 200 and used a reroll.
Re: Using reroll chits before age 200.
Thanks for the answers. Its too bad reroll chits are out now. Would be nice to see homeland ones, even without a set of rerolls, given out more frequently, so many characters locked with statcaps we didnt know existed or that changed.
