A recent summit of justice clans resulted in an edict to remove mauls from circulation as a means of keeping Decrepit's devastating power in check. I will no doubt be blanket-warranted for this breach of confidence, but such measures are unsporting in my opinion.

this is the trend with most rares, people generally don't reset if they only have one, so they'll put it in rent in hopes they get another, which could be the next day or a year, so is life. Or it ends up on people who aren't "pkers", but who dapple a bit. So they might come north, win a lotto roll and then not really participate in PK for the next little while, so it ends up out of circulation.

I agree with Ragyn but mostly I think War Maul users, die to Comboers and Comboers don't use War Mauls, so they become rent storage until a trade can be made to their benefit.
