Eldrenia is consumed by her book as she rides atop Shadow, on of Draz's valent warhorses. Draz's say something to her, but she waves him off as he dismounts and enters the tavern. Eldrenia hears the soft ting of a dagger leaving it sheath behind her and quickly embraces the One Power. Shifting in her saddle, she begins to weave strands of fire as fast as she can. The weave is moments from snapping together when an immense pain blooms in the middle of her back followed by darkness.
Draz's yell can be heard for blocks as he storms out of the tavern's doors and sees Suern looting Eldrenia's body. In Draz's rage he charges the man, who side steps and smartly twirls his dagger before slicing Draz's hamstring. Draz stumbles to his knee but knows the injury will make him too slow. Suern grins and slowly approaches Draz and begins to slowly break him down. Suern says before the killing blow, "Don't worry you'll both be rewoven into the pattern and I can do this all over again. And more money for me." Suern drives his dagger down into Draz's neck who is dead before he hit the ground.
Eldrenia awakes to a kind soul offering her food and water. She pushes them away and stands. The kind soul looks at Eldrenia and nods, embracing her in a tight hug. There is a bright light and then just the kind soul remains. Draz enters the void screaming moments later. He looks around for Eldrenia, but she is nowhere to be seen.
And so, ends the story of Eldrenia Sedai, never to be woven into the pattern again.
