Game was unstable, is up now

UPDATE as of 12/06/2016, approximately 10am PST:

We see the problem, but the soonest it can be addressed is maybe sometime late tonight.  For now the game is entirely offline, even for Immortals, so there's no use in trying to auto-connect. When the issue is fixed and we're stable, we'll go online, test it, and then update the playerbase when we're ready for company again.  Have a great day! :)

MuD down due to interesting bug. Sorry for the unexpected outage.



Hopefully back up within a couple days, subject to work schedule / workarounds.

Flash has mentioned that the problem has to do with a flag that saves rooms. We have a few of those flags on separate rooms, but the one you will likely be most familiar with is the one that is set when something dies. It means corpses save over crash/boot. I'm sure you can imagine thaaaat is a problem.

At least now you know the origin of the problem has been identified and it's just a matter of time before it will worked on and fixed.
