SMOB Chains

We are currently reviewing all SMOB chains and will be making tweaks over the next few weeks/months.

Starting with IOMM, the following changes are now live;
  • IOMM Keys will not load unless a group of sufficient size boards the boat. This is to prevent one player from collecting the keys and then calling the group for the final rewards. The chain is meant to reward those completing as a group.
  • The group will be autoawarded tps and qps on the death of Salan Mondoran.
  • IOMM final chest will now have friendlier rolls.
    • Group size needed for best rolls has been reduced from 6 to 5
    • Overall increase in % chance to load a non-craftable rare
    • If non-craftable rare does not load, the chest will now load multiple items for the group.
    • Certain rares load % has shifted to other items. IE, Heron Scabbard previously loading 25% will now load less frequently in favor of other items loading more frequently.
Please let me know if anything appears to be broken.

Next up, Sunken Castle on Jafar.
  • You will no longer be able to drop a wood cutters axe to bypass the final mob.
  • End loot will now drop in the ribcage to the west of the final mob rather than load on the mob itself
  • Loads have been adjusted to heavily favor abs weapons.
  • Groups killing the final mob will be awarded a mix of tps and qps similar to iomm.

Foul Winds aka Black Winds has now been updated. Those completing the chain will now find at a minimum a full set of abs eq and a weapon. Those that are lucky may find pieces of Murgoz or Gold abs mixed into the set and the very lucky may find a pair of hooked swords or pair of axes.
