Hello Everyone,

Feneon, Vampa and I are pleased to present a new feature that should allow you to re-equip yourselves after dying much easier. When you die and enter the circle now you will receive a basic set of gear. This gear includes some essentials to get you started on the path towards a new set.

The provided gear is a very basic set of equipment that is not meant to replace high end gear.

For LS and SS there are retired guardsmen located in the cities of Caemlyn, Tar Valon, Emonds Field, Cairhien, Amador and Falme. They can be found with the master blacksmith. These guardsman are well aware of the many dangers lurking in the world and will give a basic weapon to those in need in exchange for a weapon chit, which is included in the new kit you will receive upon dying.

If you enter the game in the circle you can say 'rekit' and a kind soul will get you started with a set of basic gear.

Weapon Options -

Onehanded Axe - a heavy axe with a dark, serrated blade
Twohanded Axe -a long-hafted axe with a gold-inlaid head
Onehanded Club - a razor studded mace
Twohanded Club - a spiked double handed warhammer
Fencing blade - a pearl-handled sabre
Flail - a bronze chain scourge
Javelin - a light metal javelin
Twohanded longblade- a jagged edged warsword
Onehanded longblade- a scimitar with a hilt of twisted iron
Medium blade - an amber hilted iron sword
Polearm - a long halberd
Short blade - a jeweled dagger
Twohanded Spear - a large steel spear
Onehanded spear - a winged spear with silver etching
Staves - a bladed feather staff

For ease of use all of the new gear responds to basicgear.

To make it easier to clean some of this we've done the following:

1. When you die the you will be notified that you have been rekitted and told how to remove it if you don't want it.
2. All pieces of basicgear have been set at a value of 1 copper meaning it will be easy to sell these to shops.
3. At CoR / CoL give anything you want to the kind figure and he will dispose of it.
4. At CoD drop anything you want and say clean and it will be removed.
5. You must now request the kit by saying 'rekit' but when you die you will be given instructions.
