The village of Sidona and the city of Far Madding have each welcomed the arrival of a haughty merchant, who only seeks a particular kind of clientele: men and women of great renown. This merchant will only deign to offer you his wares if you have more than 400 turn points (TP), and for a cost of 300 TP + 4 crafting tokens will reward you with one of:
- a gown of exquisite design
- a surcoat with exquisite embroidery
- a polished onyx-inlaid shield
- 3 glasses of apple cider
- a massive war maul
- a full set of steel-plated armor
The Dark Fortress has similarly gained a new resident, a haughty dreadlord, who offers the same terms.

I just adjusted the cost of items at the merchants:
* Threshold to be able to buy: lowered from 400 to 300
* TP cost to purchase the item: lowered from 300 to 200
* Tokens required to purchase the item: upped from 4 to 7
Going from 4 to 7 tokens was a significant jump in the mobol space required, and to make room I had to remove buying a surcoat as an option. But you can buy a gown and exchange it by handing it to the merchant (also works to exchange a surcoat back to a gown).

Another round of adjustments:
* Purchase eligibility threshold lowered from 300 to 200 tps
* Cost of purchase lowered from 200 to 150 tps, and from 7 tokens to 6 tokens
* A pouch of vial added to the 3 ciders reward
* Added a silver medallion as one of the purchasable rewards

This is an advance notice for a change that will occur on Jan 27. The haughty merchant and dreadlord will be removed, players that wish to use TPs to purchase rares should do so prior to Jan 27th. A massive war maul will be assigned a crafting recipe that will be announced prior to the 27th and ornates, surcoats, egowns will have natural loads added into the game.

Both the Haughty Dreadlord and Haughty Merchant will no longer load after reboot today. Loads have been added to SMOBs and Chests for Maul, Ornate shirt, and Surcoats.
