January 1, 2017: Happy New Year!

As most people stumble from the bar of the Queen's Blessing, glaring at the sun rising over the towers of the palace and wincing at the very loud sound of oh, say, a butterfly beating its wings against the air in flight, an overly-cheerful and awake woman skips through the streets of Outer Caemlyn singing a merry tune. "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor won't you be mine, won't you be mine..." is met with sullen looks, shaking fists, and the occasional hand rested on a sword hilt. The woman ignores the grumpity-grumps and drama llamas, points to the city gate, and says "Out there is a big wide world, go get it! You're big bad strong... uh... well, you're something great! Let's go take on the day!" She practically runs through the city gate and into the wild, her exuberance for killing things exhibited by blood splashing about in cheerful designs that would make a taxidermist shy away in horror.
