The Hall of Threads

Post by Soul » Tue Jun 23, 2026 2:17 am

The Hall of Threads has now opened.

This place was created as a sanctuary for those we have lost. For those we loved. For the people who spent their time here, formed friendships, shared stories, and became part of the history of this world.

Too often, memorials fade with time. Names become forgotten, stories disappear, and the impact people leave behind slowly becomes harder to find.

Vampa wanted that to change.

The Hall of Threads was created so that those who helped shape this community, and have now been lost, would always have a place where they could be remembered. A place where old friends can return, where new players can learn about those who came before them, and where memories can continue to exist long after the moment has passed.

Within this place, you will find our cherished friends. Gone, but not forgotten.

All races may access the Hall of Threads from the following locations:

Darkside:
1d of Blarg

Lightside:
2n of Caemlyn Central Square

Seanchan:
1s of Waterfront

Once there, type:

"Transfer"

You will be transferred to the Hall of Threads.

Inside, travel north to find the flower chest. You may take one flower or several and place them in any hall as an offering. If it is ever empty simply close the chest and open it again and it should slowly repopulate.

Each room is dedicated to a player. To view a memory of that player, type:

"l statue"

When you are ready to return, go back to the starting room named "The Hall of Threads" and type:

"Return"

Please treat this area with respect.

For some, this place will be deeply meaningful. It may be a place to reflect, remember, and find comfort. Do not leave random items on the ground or create clutter. Do not disturb others who are visiting unless they have invited you to share that moment with them.

All races will be able to use this space at the same time. Please do not turn it into a place for arguments or conflict. This hall exists for remembrance, and it should be treated accordingly.

Do not abuse this space or attempt to use it for anything other than its intended purpose. If you choose not to respect that, there will be consequences.

If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, please reach out to me through Discord or the forums, and I will address them as soon as I can.

A personal message for those who have made it this far.

Today is 6/23/26. It is around midnight. I am sitting on my back patio, enjoying my evening cigar, while being completely surrounded by what sounds like an unreasonable number of frogs.

A cacophony of frogs.

A murder of frogs.

But I digress.

I sit here thinking about this place and feeling a strange mix of emotions. Writing this has been incredibly rewarding, but it has also been difficult. There is weight behind something like this. There is a responsibility in trying to honor people properly.

I found myself wondering if I was getting it right. If I was doing them justice. Even now, after it is finished, that feeling remains.

But then my thoughts turn to all of you.

When you visit this place, it may feel heavy. For some, it may be difficult. Do not let that turn you away.

I want you all to know.

You are loved.

You are valued.

You matter.

We see each of you. Regardless of what is happening in your life, whether things are going well, whether things are difficult, or whether things are simply ok, you matter.

This space was not created to be a sad place. It was created to be a place of appreciation. A place to remember the joy, the friendships, and the moments that people have brought into this world.

While writing this, I reached out to Vampa and asked if he would allow me to share a personal note at the bottom. He readily agreed, and while we were idly chatting, he gave me something else that I felt belonged here.

"Some threads may be cut short, but they're all a part of our tapestry and together we build upon a beautiful work with each passing day." -Vampa

We are grateful to everyone who plays with us. To everyone who spends their time here. To everyone who helps create memories and brings something positive into this community.

Thank you for the years.

Thank you for the experiences.

Thank you for being here.
