This happens with everything I try to sell.

Did you keep the boots in inventory, like the log seems to suggest? If you did, you have to give the item to the aide, then say offer sale xxx.

These are definitely broken. Tried giving items to 3 of them, all pristine. Gave item to broker, then offered item. Same deal.

You have to give the item to the aide, then say 'offer sale xxx'. The aide will the show it to the broker, who will determine whether it is pristine or not, and then proceed.
