Buildable patty NE of Caemy's N gate not working

This has happened at least 3 separate occasions for me. I gather the wood, then try to build the fire and it doesn't acknowledge that I gathered the wood.

A trolloc cookpot, couched in a bed of coals, boils with human flesh.

You return to the site with a pile of wood, and toss it unceremoniously on the ground.

Ok.
