Upstairs Bedroom
The upstairs bedroom is decorated in the same overly fashion as the rest of
the house, gold and silver dominate the colors, but a few colorful
paintings line the walls as well as the large quilt covering the bed adds a
woman's touch to the room. By looking through the window you can see sandy
shoals breaking the surface of the Sea of Storms.
[ obvious exits: D ]
Zone: Mayene Peninsula
Down: A poor, solemn villager walks by.
A stealthy cougar gracefully makes its way through the terrain.

I can't tell what that first sentence is supposed to be

would help of 'overtly' was spelt correctly methinks. Would also help if the run-on sentence was split into two sane sentences and the tenses changed to match each other in the latter part. Probably also best to rework the prepositional phrase starting the last sentence too. Corrects made in the quote.

looks like something written by somebody running on 3 hours of sleep and 3 litres of coffee.

Capital "A" in item description mistakenly used for Wall Guard abs helmet re-tool ("A black steel bascinet with a thin gold plume"). Should be a lowercase "a" per convetion (*I think*).

You are using:
<used as light> a mirrored lantern
<held> an oilskin bag
<worn on finger> a gold ring delicately carved with ivy

<worn on head> A black steel bascinet with a thin gold plume
<worn around neck> a torc of gleaming steel

<worn on body> a black steel cuirass etched with a golden fist
<worn about body> a fine black coat of silk
<slung on back> a backpack
<worn on arms> a pair of black steel vambraces etched in gold
<worn on hands> a thick pair of gold-plated gauntlets
<worn around wrist> a sungwood bracelet

<wielded two-handed> a great claymore (scratched)
<worn about waist> a bronze belt of odd design
<worn on belt> a shiny copper dagger
<worn on belt> a sword sheath
<worn on legs> a pair of black steel greaves etched in gold
<worn on feet> a pair of black steel boots with gold-capped toes

should be "you are plunged" or were plunged right?
