Loing qps on Tower mobs

You have to return the mob to its homezone. E.g. if you take it from Tower ground floor/ garden, then ungrouping it there will ensure you retain your qps. Just like old timey mastermobs. Note: its zone of origin changes where it spawns after a boot/ crash. So if you crash in Blight, and mud comes back up with you and mob in Blight, Blight is now its homezone.
And yes, working with rank 7 and rank 8 mobs is fiddly, but there is no immediate fix for that. I always get rank 8 mob, issue rank 7 mob, return rank 8 mob to its origin zone, return rank 7 mob. I don't lose qps. Is it the most user friendly? No, but you can retain qps by following a specific order.

Yep that works - but I can't returnn to base a R7 mob and then relead an R8 mob (per recent discussions this isn't something that can be fixed).
So my query is - I thought we weren't meant to lose qp on R7 mobs in any situations now. (Or reason for posting it to bugs/hoping reimburse).
