So hit a TAR last night and something unusual happened. Kind of seemed unexplained and we weren't sure if it was a bug. This happen after boot last night. I have the entire log if you need but I have copy pasted the reason for posting.

Penzei wove Ice Spikes at least once during the successful attempt. In the initial post, Fireball is the only thing anyone wove, as reported. Not sure that needs to be part of the tactic or not, but it is a difference between the two attempts.

I'd be shocked if one round of melting ice spikes was the difference between a scratched and a dead dreadlord, but who knows.

Again, completely hypothesizing out of left field:

In the successful takedown, Borramyr, at least once that I could see, successfully bashed the dreadlord. I didn't see that anyone else was actually engaged with the dreadlord (all physical attacks seemed to be against the minions). Perhaps he begins with some sort of protective weave (like an extremely amp'd up weave versus damage), but a bash can disrupt it, opening him up to damage.

P.S., Queue Zarth commenting about #unethical channelers and stabbers, who would routinely get wiped by this dreadlord if the above is true. Just need an #ethical basher for success.
