I'll probably end up removing this from some of the main areas in the next adjustment of newbie things. For now, I doubt there is a great work around.
Gaidin was smart, Tower would work.

I think a good workaround would be to remove the exp scalp thing from criers, and add a mob elsewhere. Maybe have the crier say to visit xxx mob for experience or something. Squares are used for a lot of things because of no hide.
